20Q Challenge Game, Deluxe


Think you can stump this blue-domed chump in a game of 20 Questions? Don't bet on it. You'll be surprised how often it guesses what you're thinking! 20Q uses artificial intelligence technology to practically read your mind. You think of an object, then 20Q asks a series of "yes" or "no" questions. If it guesses the object in 20 questions or fewer, it wins. If it doesn't, you're smarter than we think!

I put 20Q to the test with "HUBCAP." Is it animal, vegetable, or mineral, it asked in scrolling red text? No. Can you buy it? Yes. Does it require specific knowledge to use? No. After each answer 20Q elicited a string of space-age bleeps that would make R2D2 proud. A dozen questions (and intermittent taunts and boasts!) later and the plastic pod showed no sign of zeroing in on my object. I suspected it was clueless and I smelled victory. But then came this: "It's a hubcap?" No way! I was stunned. Amazing!
